23% Jan Dhan accounts still without balance.....

DESPITE a huge surge in total deposits in Jan Dhan accounts following demonetisation, about one-fifth of these still continue to have no balance.
Net addition in the 25.8 crore Jan Dhan accounts was just Rs 288 crore during the week ended on december 7, taking total deposits to about Rs74,610 crore.
The percentage of zero balance account, however, remained flat at about 22.9per cent despite the addition of Rs 29,000crore in total deposits in about 30 days after demonetisation of high value notes took effect on November 9.
After the initial surge, total deposits in Jan Dhan accounts have seen decline week after week. As much as Rs 1,487 crore was parked in these accounts during 7 daysended November 30, as against Rs 8,283 crore in the previous week. The accretion was Rs 18,615.54 crore a week after demonetisation which moderated to less than half to Rs 8,582.57 crore during the 7 day period of November 17 to 23. Deposits in the 25.8 crore such accounts totalled Rs 74,609.50 crore at the end of December 7, as per the Finance Ministry data. The upper limit for deposits in Jan Dhan account is Rs 50,000. The overall amount was Rs 72,834.72 crore in 25.68 crore accounts at the end of November 23.
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised entire nation with demonetisation of Rs 500 and 1,000 notes on November 8, deposits in Jan Dhan accounts have increased by 28,973 crore. As of November 9, the balance in about 25.5 crore such accounts was Rs 45,636.61 crore. The aggregate deposits increased to Rs 64,252.15 crore in a week ended November 16.
Last week, the government said that inflows into Jan Dhan accounts have come down significantly after it warned people not to allow their accounts to be misused for converting black money into white. After setting a cash deposit limit of Rs 50,000 in Jan Dhan accounts, the Government had on November 18 cautioned account-holders that they will be prosecuted under the I-TAct for allowing misuse of their bank accounts through deposit of black money in Rs 500/1,000 notes during the 50 day window till December 30.

Cool cool!!!!

Wlcm!!!!! To winter season😙
It is the coldest season of the year in some parts of the northern and southern hemisphere, this season is characterized by falling snow and freezing cold temperatures, usually exacerbated by strong winds. The season which usually lasts about three months is caused by the winter-stricken area being farthest away from the sun in the earth’s orbit around it.

People rarely come outdoors until daylight; most sit indoors by the fireside in the mornings and evenings. Everyone sees the essence of the weather report during winter, this service assumes added importance as the information they present can be the difference between having proper protective clothing and freezing to death, knowing if the roads would be navigate-able tomorrow morning, or if the night’s blizzard has called off engagements on their behalf.
Most people wake up to shovel snow out of their paths on winter mornings. On some particularly severe occasions, snow and strong winds has blocked roads and grounded flights, even frozen rivers for days, week and months.
People clothe themselves in thick apparels during winter to ward off the cold and keep their bodies warm, over the year’s winter clothing has evolved, today styles and designs are incorporated into them, far from the tattered animal skin that early man in these areas used to protect himself from the same grim weather.

winter affected areas of the world, several outdoor and sporting activities have been designed to take advantage of the weather and give the people a chance to exercise and bring themselves some joy. These activities, taken as tradition and practiced at every winter (some depending on the ice level) includes; curling, ice skating, ice racing, ice sculpture, ice hockey, ice fishing, ice climbing, ice boating and more.
Plants and animal life respond to winter in varying ways. Some animals such as birds migrate when the winter season is approaching and only return during the summer, this is to ensure food supply as most of their food sources freeze in the winter.
Others go into hibernation, a state resembling sleep where the animal remains inactive, usually housed in a shell, remaining so until summer arrives. Some animals profusely gather and store food, in preparation for winter months when the sources are dead and gathering impossible. In response to the weather most animals have also adapted themselves, by developing thick furs that keep them warm during this season, others such as the snowshoe hare changes colour to white and becomes indistinguishable from the snow as a survival tactic.
Whilst some plants completely die off in winter, others actually need the season to complete their life cycle. Some plants buried in snow are as a result insulated by it and survive the weather, some trees lose all their leaves during this season, but their roots are active, protected by the thick layers of snow that covers the earth surface.
.
:
Winter is also a time of fruits, many fruits such as guava and oranges as well as many vegetables become available during winter. Often times people complain of winter, cursing the cold and praying for the summer, but if we did not have winter, can we truly appreciate summer and vice versa?

Thirteen years ago !!!??!

Justice Dipak Misra (center).

Wednesday was not the first time that Justice Dipak Misra ruled on how and when the national anthem should be played in a cinema. Nor was Wednesday the first time that public interest petitioner Shyam Narayan Chouksey had succeeded in getting a court order over an “insult” to the national anthem. Thirteen years ago, when he was a judge in the Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Misra had passed a detailed order on the imperatives of showing respect to the national anthem.
Then, the petitioner before the High Court bench headed by him was none other than Chouksey — the same person on whose PIL the Supreme Court bench led by Justice Misra Wednesday issued slew of directives.Speaking to The Indian Express, Chouksey described it as a “mere coincidence” that his PIL was heard by Justice Misra in the Supreme Court too, and maintained that his petition has highlighted several recent incidents of insulting the national anthem while annexing all other orders passed in the similar matter in the past.
In 2003, Chouksey moved a petition in the Madhya Pradesh High Court accusing producer-director Karan Johar of insulting the national anthem in his movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. Chouksey complained that a scene in the movie depicted the national anthem in poor light. Further, he rued that people in the hall did not stand when the anthem was played.
Allowing Chouksey’s petition, Justice Misra, authoring the Division Bench judgment in July 2003, had ordered that the movie shall be withdrawn from all theatres and could not be shown unless the producer removed the scene depicting the national anthem in what the judgment said was “contrary to national ethos and an anathema to the sanguinity of the national feeling”.
This order was set aside by the Supreme Court in 2004. But later, on a review petition moved by Chouksey, the apex court recalled its 2004 order and agreed to reconsider various questions of law involved in this matter.
Finally, in November 2006, the top court brought the curtain down on this case, saying the questions of law were
being left open and that it would deal with the issues in some other matter. The Supreme Court, however, allowed the movie to be screened in its original form, without any cuts or deletion of the scene on the national anthem.
In his order as a high court judge, Justice Misra had said that “any person who shows disrespect to the national anthem in a way, has to be regarded involved in anti-national activity”.
The judge’s views were clear that “no one is permitted to pave the path of deviancy and introduce the theory totalistic individualism in the name of freedom of expression” and that the “national anthem being the honour, pride and symbol of India and it is basically being the symbol of sovereignty and integrity of India, every citizen is under the obligation to respect.”
The judgment added: “The national anthem is pivotal and centripodal to the basic conception of sovereignty and integrity of India. It is the marrow of nationalism, hypostasis of patriotism, nucleus of national heritage, substratum of culture and epitome of national honour…every citizen should remember that every word, deed and thought by him has to be indicative of the respect for the Constitution and the national anthem.”
Although Justice Misra said that it was not required for the high court to deal with the aspect of standing up of the audience when the focus had to be on the aspect of certification of the movie, the judge did say that it was not correct to argue that people did not need to stand up when the national anthem is played as a part of a feature film.
“The Apex Court in the case of Bejoi Emannuel has clearly laid down that when the national anthem is sung and if one stands up, it should not be treated as disrespect. If the aforesaid judgment is understood correctly it requires that audience must stand,” stated the judgment.
Referring to the controversial scene in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, the judge further said: “…it runs counter to the ratio laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Bejoi…as the audience in the film do not stand up immediately.”
In Bejoi Emannuel’s case, a two-judge bench of the Supreme Court had ordered a school in Kerala to take back three children who had been expelled for not singing the National Anthem, although they stood during the Anthem. The children desisted from singing because of their conviction that their religion did not permit them to join any rituals except in their prayers to Jehovah, their God. The top court ruled that there is no legal provision that obliges anyone to sing the National Anthem, and it is not disrespectful to the Anthem if a person who stands up respectfully when it is being sung does not join in the singing. It, however, did not deal with the issue of whether it would be disrespectful if a person chose not to stand during the National Anthem.
Meanwhile, on an appeal by Karan Johar against Justice Misra’s verdict, a three-judge bench led by then Chief Justice V N Khare set aside the High Court order on April 19, 2004, stating it was not mandatory to stand when the national anthem is played.
“We are satisfied that in view of the instructions issued by the Government of India that the national anthem
which is exhibited in the course of exhibition of newsreel or documentary or in a film, the audience is not expected to stand as the same interrupts the exhibition of the film and would create disorder and confusion, rather than add to the dignity of the national anthem,” it said.
However, Chouksey moved a review petition against this order, pointing out that he was not heard at the time of this order despite filing a caveat. On October 21, 2005, a bench headed by then Chief Justice R C Lahoti allowed his review petition and recalled the 2004 order. “In our opinion, the questions of law arising for decision have far-reaching implications and need to be noticed and considered by this Court,” said Justice Lahoti although he said that the issue of certification to the movie need not be gone into any further.

  • This matter later came up for hearing before another three-judge bench headed by then Chief Justice Y K Sabharwal on November 15, 2006. This time, the court simply disposed it of saying that the questions of law were being left open and would be determined in an appropriate case.

I😜Image result for indian politicsImage result for BHARAT BAND

IImage result for BHARAT BAND

Image result for कांग्रेसImage result for indian politics

A PLANT THAT EATS RATS !

' The Nepenthes Northiana' is a carnivorous pitcher plant mostly located in Southest Asia, eats small animals, mostly rats! It measures up to 20 centimeters in diameter and is formed by a tendril, which inflates into a large cup-shaped trap.

Image result for a plant that eats ratThis plant eats rats, and anything else it can catch. It grows a leaf out that shapes itself into an open tube and fills itself with acid, much like the human stomach. It colours confuse insects as well as some rodents into thinking it is food itself. The rat falls in, and digestion begins.

Image result for a plant that eats ratIt is believed thet there are around 600 species of pitcher plants. These plants are most familiar with the Venus flytrap. Even though they evolved so that they could catch insects, they still like to eat rats and mice every now and then.

INSPIRATION

Image result for psychology
A PSYCHOLOGIST walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they'd be asked the "half empty or half full" question . Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired:"How heavy is this glass of water?" Answer called out ranged from 8oz.to 20oz.She replied,"The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long i hold it.If i hold it for a minute,it's not a problem. If i hold it for an hour,I'll have an ache in my arm.If i hold it for a day,my arm will feel numb and paralysed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer i hold it,the heavier it becomes."

She continued," The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of wate.Think about them for a while and nothing happens.Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralysed- incapable of doing anything."

It's important to remember to let go of your stresses. As early in the evening as you can,put all your burdens down.Don't carry them through the evening and into the night.Remember to put the glass down!
